Diagnosing Hepatitis A

Hepatitis A Fact Sheet (PDF 14 KB)

When hepatitis A is suspected, serum should be drawn for a hepatitis panel.

Testing should include both IgM and IgG antibodies.

If it is suspected that someone has been exposed to hepatitis A, contact a health care provider or Boulder County Public Health.
