Approximately 15-25% of patients will resolve their infection.
Chronic hepatitis C can be treated with interferon-alfa-2b alone,
interferon-alfa in combination with ribavirin, or pegylated interferon
alfa-2a.
Hepatitis C-positive persons should be evaluated for liver disease by
their health care provider.
