Boulder County Public Health to Launch WNV Action Plan

Boulder County Public Health (BCPH) will launch a West Nile Virus action campaign on Thursday, May 27th. The launch will include a press conference at the baseball field located at 16th Street and Iris Avenue.

Local and metro news services will be present, as well as government officials from around the county. The timing of the launch is designed to bring attention to the need for residents to take action to protect themselves while enjoying outdoor activities, particularly this Memorial Day.

BCPH will have a booth at the Boulder Creek Festival throughout the Memorial Day weekend to answer questions about the virus, precautions, actions the county is taking, and to distribute materials to residents visiting the festival.
