Regardless of mosquito activity at a trap location, it remains important to remember the 4 D's throughout the summer:

1. Use DEET or alternative.
2. DRESS in long sleeves and pants.
3. Avoid DUSK until DAWN.
4. DRAIN standing water.

 * Culex Present: Although 43 different species of mosquitoes can carry the West Nile Virus, Culex species are the primary carriers of the virus in Colorado.
