Education
Because no treatment is available for
West Nile virus, and because personal action is a large component of
prevention, education is a primary element in the prevention of West
Nile virus.
Boulder County Public Health invested
in the creation of an educational campaign in order to build on the
awareness of West Nile virus within the community, and to move from
simply being aware to taking personal action.
The campaign goal is to help the
community understand the importance of individual action and
responsibility in protecting oneself from the dangers of West Nile
virus.
