Additional Services
If you are eligible for Medicaid, it is
likely that you are also eligible for other services within
the Boulder County Public Health and Social Services departments. Some of
these programs include:
NFP
The Nurse-Family Partnership is a voluntary program where
specially trained nurses visit low-income women in their
homes during their first pregnancy and throughout the first
two years of their children’s lives.
Food Stamps
Food coupons for eligible individuals and families
who are in need of food.
WIC (Women, Infants, & Children)
WIC provides supplemental nutritious foods, nutrition and
breastfeeding information, and referral to other health and
nutrition services. WIC promotes and supports breastfeeding.
Early &
Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, & Treatment
Children on Medicaid from birth through age 20 are also part of (EPSDT),
which helps parents make the most of their health care
benefits.
Community Infant
Project (CIP)
CIP works with high-risk families to promote healthy
attachments between parents and infants.
Children with Special Needs
(CSN)
CSN assists families with children with special
health care needs from birth through age 20 with information, referrals
to community resources, and specialized nursing services.
