A
big thanks to our volunteers
and interns!
April 18
through April 24 is National Volunteer Week, which is set aside to
recognize and thank volunteers across the nation for their contributions
to our communities.
Boulder
County Public Health would like to thank all of our volunteers and interns
who have contributed their time and skills to so many of our programs.
Last year 328 volunteers and interns contributed over 16,000 hours
to 20 different programs—that’s the equivalent of almost eight
full-time staff members!
If you
are a volunteer, we thank you! If
you know a volunteer, thank them! Volunteers
offer so much to our agency and our community, and they give from their
hearts! They are truly
wonderful!
If
you are interested in becoming a volunteer for Boulder County Public
Health, please call 303-441-1163. We have volunteer opportunities in a variety of programs, and
we are presently looking for volunteers to help with the distribution of
educational materials about West Nile Virus.
