Cherry Creek Reservoir Control Regulation to be
Reviewed

DENVER - The Colorado Water Quality Control Commission has
scheduled a public rule making hearing at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September
15, to consider revisions to the Cherry Creek Reservoir control
regulation.
The hearing will be held in the Sabin Room at the Colorado
Department of Public Health and Environment, 4300 Cherry Creek Drive
South.
Revisions to the regulation have been proposed jointly by
the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Water Quality
Control Division as staff to the commission and the Cherry Creek Basin
Water Quality Authority.
A portion of this rulemaking, which addresses proposed
restrictions on new septic systems in the Cherry Creek basin floodplain,
will be conducted as a joint hearing with the Colorado Board of Health. It
is anticipated that this portion of the hearing will begin at 10 a.m.

Interested persons are encouraged to submit written
comments to the commission at or prior to the hearing, or to provide oral
comments at the hearing.

September 1, 2004, will be distributed to commission members for review
