About Us

The Boulder County Commissioners announced their decision to merge two of the County's existing human services departments into a single organization to be called the Department of Housing and Human Services.

Boulder County Department of Housing and Human Services aims to promote self-sufficiency and to enhance dignity and self-worth of residents of Boulder County and beyond. The Housing Division helps foster the availability of quality, affordable housing and related services for lower income residents, while the Human Services Division provides basic economic assistance and human services to preserve and improve the quality of life for families and individuals.
