Child Welfare - Family
and Children Services Division offers many services that are aimed at helping
the children and families in our community.
Child Support - The
Child Support Enforcement Unit (CSEU) is a department of
the Boulder County Department of Housing & Human
Services and exists to provide child support enforcement
services to residents and assist in many areas of child
support collection.
Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) -
The provides financial assistance to eligible
low-income families who need child care to support their
efforts toward self-sufficiency. CCAP provides benefits
for children from birth to age 12.
Medicaid
- Medicaid
provides comprehensive health and dental insurance for
low-income families, including pregnant women, eligible
adults and children ages birth to 19 years.
Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+)

is a low-cost health and dental insurance for Colorado
children and pregnant women.
Foster Care
- Learn about the different types of foster care and all
of the various components, including the matching
process, the support offered by Boulder County,
financial reimbursement, and teen homes.
Kinship
Support Services
- Kinship families are a vital component to securing
permanency for Boulder County's Waiting Children.
Kinship Families can provide either Kinship Foster Care
or Kinship Adoption. |
