Medicaid
- Medicaid
provides comprehensive health and dental insurance for
low-income families, including pregnant women, eligible
adults and children ages birth to 19 years.
Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+)
is a low-cost health and dental insurance for Colorado
children and pregnant women.
Medicare Savings Program
- The Medicare Savings Program (MSP) includes three
different areas, each of which assists with health care
costs for eligible Medicare Part A patients.
Old Age Pension (OAP)
provides financial assistance to
residents ages 60 or older with little or no income, and
may provide medical assistance for eligible applicants.
Colorado Indigent Care Program (CICP) helps make
discounted health care services available to Colorado
residents, migrant workers and legal immigrants with
limited financial resources who are uninsured or
underinsured and not eligible for benefits under the
Medicaid Program or the Children's Basic Health Plan.
Boulder County Healthy Kids - initiative is a
program to improve child health by linking all eligible
children, families and pregnant women in Boulder County
to available benefits and health coverage options. Our
mission is that every child in Boulder County will have
health coverage and access to health care.

Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment
(EPSDT) - Program is the child health component of
Medicaid. It's required in every state and is designed
to improve the health of low-income children, by
financing appropriate and necessary pediatric services.

organizations, pediatricians, and other health
providers.
Boulder
County Public Health (BCPH) - a high-performance
organization under the policy direction of a progressive
board of health, with 220 staff, a $15 million budget,
and extensive collaborative community partnerships.
