Position Title:Rangeland Photo Monitor

Program Summary:
Rangeland Photo Monitors are needed to monitor rangeland health on Boulder County agricultural land. If you are interested in visiting closed, scenic open space properties and using your basic GPS and photography skills this is a great volunteer opportunity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Visit established locations on Boulder County rangelands to assess current resources and trends over time through photo monitoring. Volunteers will visit up to 8 properties mainly on the plains.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Volunteering is completely flexible around your schedule, we just ask that you complete the project between late June and mid-August. On average volunteers work 30 hours during the season. Knowledge of GPS and digital photography are preferred. Background in rangeland and/ or plant ecology and natural resources is helpful. Natural Resource Monitors must be at least 18 years old.

Training Dates and Information:
A three-hour training will be held the week of June 10th.
