Position Title:Invasive Plant Monitor

Program Summary:

Volunteer invasive plant monitors are needed to visit someof Boulder County’s most scenic properties while collecting information about post-flood plant disturbances inthe field.. 
Duties and Responsibilities:

From June to September, volunteers will hike along trailcorridors using photo points to identify and record the location of invasive plants and associated insects.  

Qualifications and Requirements:
Knowledge of local flora (native and exotic) is preferred. Ability to maintain and organize database and spreadsheet to track monitoring.

Ability to hike for extendedperiods of time outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Invasive plant monitors must be at least 18 years old.

Applications deadline is 4/2/2015. Since there is limited space in this program, all applications will be screened before interviews are arranged.
