Position Title:Conservation Easement Stewards

Program Summary:
Boulder County Parks and Open Space is looking for volunteer Conservation Easement Stewards. A conservation easement is a voluntary agreement by a landowner to protect a property by limiting development and specifying appropriate uses on the property. Volunteers will learn how to conduct site visits to properties to monitor adherence with conservation easement terms, and prepare monitoring reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Volunteers will be trained by experts in the field and will work in pairs or alone to monitor properties in June and July.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience with map and navigation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is desired. Conservation Easement Stewards must be at least 18 years old.

Volunteering is flexible around your schedule -  we just ask that you monitor on weekdays during regular business hours.
