Position Title:Head Start Classroom Volunteer

Time Commitment or Project Date:Mid- September to Mid- April. Must be at least 15 to apply.

Program Summary:
Head Start is a comprehensive child development program for low-income, multi-cultural children and families, including those with special needs. Head Start is designed to meet the individual needs of children ages 3-5. The program works to build a strong partnership between teachers and families, honoring the family as their child’s first and most important teacher.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Classroom  volunteers work in the classroom teachers and supporting daily activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Likes to work with children ages 3-5; minimum age is 15.
