Keep It Clean Partnership (KICP)

Stormwater runoff occurs when rain or snowmelt flows over parking lots or streets. Stormwater can pick up trash, oil, dirt, and other pollutants as it travels and then carry them to the storm drainage system, which drains directly to our local creeks and streams.

The Keep it Clean Partnership (KICP) implements a regional stormwater management program, not only to comply with the federal Phase II stormwater regulations, but to also address broader water quality and watershed issues.

KICP is a partnership of Colorado communities in the Boulder and St. Vrain watersheds, and includes Boulder County; the cities of Boulder, Longmont, and Louisville; and the towns of Erie and Superior.
