Boulder County Land Use Code Update Process & Possible Amendments Under Review

Land Use Code Update Process

The Boulder County Land Use Code is an important tool that plays a large role in determining how unincorporated Boulder County will look in the future by the way it guides new construction and development today. The code was adopted in 1994 and has not been comprehensively evaluated since that time. The commissioners believe that the proposed code revision process is necessary at this time, and that public input is critical to its success. The commissioners need your, the publics, help in making the Land Use Code a better document that reflects community values, is administered as fairly as possible, can be clearly understood, and effectively implements the basic vision of the Boulder County Comprehensive Plan.

Also, feel free to subscribe to our Land Use Code e-mail list to keep up-to-date on meetings, decisions, and other pertinent information.
