In order to help preserve the unique character of each of
Boulder County’s historic communities, the County Commissioners
have invited several townsites, including Eldorado Springs, to
participate in a community planning process where property
owners and residents work together to develop a plan and
proposed regulations for guiding future preservation and
development in their respective communities.
After numerous public meetings to gather community input, the
Eldorado Springs Townsite Plan was adopted by the Boulder County
Planning Commission on April 15, 2009. The plan serves as a
guiding document for the possible creation of new regulations in
the future.

The Eldorado Springs Advisory Committee, comprised of
community members, was formed to explore and propose specific
regulations to implement the plan. They meet at 6PM on the last
Wednesday of the month at the Eldorado Springs Fire Hall. Anyone
is welcome to attend and participate.
