Activities Available on Open Space
Boulder County Parks and Open Space offers a variety of
natural and
cultural history programs and events open to the public. A description of

Some shelters may be reserved
for a fee, while others are available on a first-come, first-served
basis. Visit our shelter
calendar to see when the shelters are available for first-come
first-served use.
Groups of 25 people or more must have a
Group/Special Use
Reservation.
Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department does not
plow open space parking lots. For more information

Any group of 25 people or more (whether nonprofit, educational, governmental,
or social) must receive a group reservation before their activity on
Boulder County open space. Group activities include, but are not limited
to: research projects, hikes, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing,
picnicking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and nature studies. Please
fill out the group/special use reservation
form to initiate a reservation request.
