Snowshoeing and Cross-country Skiing

Below are some trails to explore
during the frosty winter months and early spring when you are inspired
to get out on your snowshoes and skis. Keep in mind that conditions vary
greatly due to winds and are best within 24 hours of a local snowfall.
Please follow winter trail etiquette with these following tips and
suggestions:
- Snowshoers should always yield to cross-country skiers.
- Do not snowshoe or hike on ski tracks whenever possible.
- Snowshoe along the edge of the trail, leaving the center of the
trail to cross-country skiers.
- Slow down when approaching or overtaking another user. When
stopped, do not block the trail.
