Two Creeks Open Space

Flagg ParkFlagg Park is owned by the City of Lafayette and leased to Boulder County. The five-acre property is located off of Flagg Drive and contains a section of Coal Creek.

History

The site, a former landfill, was developed into a community park in 1979 with the help of grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF). The Flagg Park Property was deeded to the City in 1964 by the Hurst Family. In November 1977, the County Commissioners entered into a lease agreement with the City and planned to develop the site as a natural park.

Facilities

Access

Access to the property is from the park entrance off of Flagg Drive, east of 120th Street and south of Baseline Road. Head east on Baseline Road. Turn south on Flagg Drive. Turn east into the parking lot for Flagg Park. The property address is 12400 Flagg Drive in Lafayette.
