There are methods you can try to
prevent animals and birds from entering your home, entice them to
leave once they do enter, and ward off an unwanted
encounter. Otherwise, contact the Colorado
Division of Wildlife at 303-297-1192 or a private animal
removal agency. |

Who do I contact about wildlife regulations? |

For questions regarding hunting and fishing or the harassment and/or illegal
taking of wildlife, contact the Colorado
Division of Wildlife. To report a violation call Operation
Game Thief at 800-332-4155. Contact the U.S.
Fish and Wildlife Service for questions regarding the legal
protection status of threatened and endangered species, the
candidate status of proposed species, and copies of the pertinent
laws and regulations. |

For wildlife problems, such as a bear encounter,
contact the Colorado Division of Wildlife at 303-297-1192. It will
be investigated by the Colorado Division of Wildlife manager in
the appropriate district.

species in Boulder County, contact the Colorado Natural Heritage
Program at
Colorado State University. They track all
elemental occurrences (EO) of species in the state. |
