PRESENTS

LARGE ANIMAL RESCUE TRAINING 
This training is funded by a Homeland Security grant from the Denver Urban Area Security Initiative

 

9am-12pm   Classroom instruction in the Clover Building
12-1pm         Lunch on your own
1-4pm            Hands on practice in the Indoor Arena

Cost - FREE!
Priority will be given to responders in the North Central Region/Denver UASI.

Large Animal Rescue Awareness Level Course:
· Background of Large Animal Rescue training

· Assessment of the trapped large animal
· Containment and handling of animals
· Barn safety and barn fires
· Disaster preparedness & evacuation

Who Should Attend:

 

Personnel such as fire, rescue, law enforcement, animal control officers, livestock professionals, veterinary professionals and anyone else who wants to be part of the solution is encouraged to take this course.
