Want to know your options?
List view shows trails by park with their length in miles.
Don’t know where the parks are?
Map view displays all the trails on the map. Touch Locate Me to find your current location. Zoom in to your area for your nearest trails.
Want to extend your hike?
The trail you select from List view is shown in purple, and connecting trails are shown in orange so you can see your options. Click on the Hiker icon to see the name and length of the connecting trails.
Use the Locate Me button to track your progress and estimate your distance to connecting trails or the parking lot.
Want to see the landscape?
Touch Map Type and select Satellite to see the landscape in incredible photographic detail. Hybrid will show you Street and Satellite layers together.
What updates would you like?
This application is new and needs to be tested, so lace up your hiking boots, hit the trails, and let us know what you think.
Future updates may include: distance travelled; elevation gain; downloadable maps for offline access; driving directions; outdoor activities; and seasonal closures.
Note: This version only works for iOS 4 devices with GPS. This application does not include other local agency trails or United States Forest Service trails.
