As committed during earlier project public outreach, Boulder County Transportation is evaluating potential options for traffic calming on Cherryvale Road from Baseline Road to Arapahoe Road to address increases in traffic speed. The first meeting is an opportunity for the public to review the proposed options, discuss alternatives and provide input. The second meeting will be focused on providing an opportunity for review of potential selected options by residents whose properties front on Cherryvale Road. Flood Insurance Rate Map Community Information Meeting

Residents and business owners are encouraged to attend this informational meeting to learn how and why the flood risk in Boulder County is changing, how the proposed new flood maps will be used, and the steps they can take to protect themselves from flood damage.  During the open house, property owners will have the opportunity to hear from State and FEMA representatives about the remapping process and discuss individual properties with County officials.

Additionally, information will be provided about the National Flood Insurance Program, including flood insurance and map changes.  Attendees are encouraged to review the proposed flood maps at the meeting to learn about local flood risk and identify any concerns or questions about the information provided.
