Update on the Subdivision Paving Local Improvement District (LID)

The July 27 court ruling in Wibby v. Board of County Commissioners ordered the county to dissolve the Subdivision Paving Local Improvement District (LID) and refund all paid assessments with interest.

The Board of County Commissioners accepts the court’s decision and is already moving forward to return all paid assessments to property owners (with interest) and take any additional actions necessary to remove the liens from all District properties. There are several steps involved in this process, but Boulder County is committed to refunding the monies and removing the property liens as quickly as possible.
