Resource Conservation Division
Resource Conservation is a division of Boulder County
Administrative Services
and is housed in the Boulder County Recycling Center, 1901 63rd
Street (one block north of Arapahoe), Boulder, Colorado, 80301.
Division
staff include: Jeff Callahan - Manager, Hilary Collins - Assistant Manager,
Jennifer Bohn, Ben Brown, Gale Elstun, Eric Heyboer, Doug Parker,
Fred Stites,
Ken Webber and Tami Wireman.
The division manages the contract with Eco-Cycle for the
operations of the recycling center, licenses waste haulers, operates
Boulder County's household hazardous waste and waste
transfer stations at Allenspark and Nederland, and
drop-off recycling centers in
Allenspark,
Lyons,
Nederland and
Niwot. It also provides countywide public
education and outreach, a
yard waste drop-off
site for use by unincorporated county residents, and slash/wood collection at
Nederland.
In addition, the division manages services
for Boulder County government offices including
in-house zero waste
services, electronics waste recycling, hazardous waste disposal, and assists in funding Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley
schools education programs that are provided by Eco-Cycle.
