Boulder County Recycling Center Guided Tour
Looking for something different to do during the summer break? Take a
guided tour of the Boulder County Recycling Center.
The Boulder County Resource Conservation Division will host a free,
guided tour of the Boulder County Recycling Center, 1901 63rd St. in
Boulder, on Tuesday, July 10.
The one-hour tour begins at 4 p.m. and will feature a 10-minute video
and an informational tour of the facility. The tour will cover topics
such as where our trash goes; how to reduce, reuse and recycle; how to
recycle correctly; and the importance of buying recycled products. Due
to the timing of the tours to allow students to participate, the
facility will not be operating during the time.
Large groups may want to call in advance to alert the tour guide, but it
is not necessary.
