Almost 20% of household garbage is yard and food waste that
can be diverted from landfills and turned into rich compost. Compost helps
lawns and gardens thrive. Residents will use less water and fertilizer and
could pay less on their trash bill just by composting.
Visit www.bouldercountyrecycles.net under the Composting page to learn more
about how to get started, where to purchase bins, what to do with finished
compost, and where to find compost demonstration gardens!
