The Boulder County Household Hazardous Waste Facility, located at Western Disposal Services Transfer Station, 5880 Butte Mill Road, Boulder will be closed Thursday, December 23 2004 through Tuesday, January 4 2005 for the Christmas and New Years holiday.  The site will reopen on Wednesday, January 5 2005 for regular HHW drop-off hours.

The facility is open on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Reusable products are also available free to the public during these hours on a first-come, first-served basis.
