Boulder County Resource Conservation Division hosts guided tours of
Recycling Center
The Boulder County Resource Conservation Division will offer free, guided
tours of the Boulder County Recycling Center, 1901 63rd St. in Boulder, on
the following dates:
· Wednesday, November 8
· Tuesday, December 5
The one-hour tours begin at 4 p.m. and feature a 10-minute video and
informational tour of the facility. The tours cover topics such as where
our trash goes; how to reduce, reuse and recycle; how to recycle
correctly; and the importance of buying recycled products. Participants
will be able to observe operations at the recycling facility.
Special Tour:
In honor of national “America Recycles” day, the Boulder County Resource
Conservation Division staff will hold a special Family Fun Day Tour on
Saturday, November 18, from 11 a.m. to noon
Large groups may want to call in advance to alert the tour guide, but it
is not necessary.
