The Resource Conservation Advisory Board was formed in 2002 to advise
the Board of County Commissioners on major waste diversion policies and
strategies. At the direction of the Board of County Commissioners, to
develop policy and action recommendations for a long range county-wide
solid waste management plan for consideration by the Board of County
Commissioners.Membership is made up of twenty members (one appointed
representative from each of the cities and towns in the county and from
the unincorporated county; one from the City and County of Broomfield; one
from CU Recycling; one from Eco-Cycle; one from the Center for ReSource
Conservation; and
five at-large members). Meetings are scheduled on the 4th Wednesday of
each month, 4:45 - 6:30 p.m. at the Boulder County Recycling Center, 1901
