Newsletters will be produced and disseminated throughout the duration of the program to provide property owners and other interested parties with regular updates. The newsletters will contain information on regulatory floodplains, the National Flood Insurance Program, Code Amendments, and other relevant topics.

This meeting is cumulative and will include maps from each unincorporated county area that has been discussed at other public meetings. Comments on all released draft maps are due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 13. Maps available at this meeting include:
  • *NEW AREAS - North Boulder Creek from CO Hwy 72, Middle Boulder Creek from west of Eldora to Nederland, and South Boulder Creek from the southern county line to Gross Reservoir
  • Jan. 31 meeting maps - Two Mile Canyon Creek, Lower Boulder Creek east of 61st Street, South Boulder Creek from Gross Reservoir to Eldorado Springs townsite, Boulder Creek from Barker Reservoir to upstream of Eben G. Fine Park, Rock Creek withing Boulder County and south of Coalton Trail, and Coal Creek within Boulder County and west of Hwy 128
  • Jan. 19 meeting maps - Cabin Creek AND North/Middle/South St. Vrain creeks between CO Hwy 72 and Longmont Dam Road
  • Jan. 10 meeting maps - Fourmile Canyon Creek (above Wagonwheel Gap Road), Dry Creek #2, New Dry Creek, Resilient St. Vrain Study Area (outside of Longmont)
  • Dec. 13, 2016 meeting maps - North & South St. Vrain creeks from downstream of Longmont Dam Road and just upstream of Red Gulch to Lyons AND St. Vrain Creek from Lyons east to 75th Street. 

Viewing Draft Floodplain Data Online:
Draft floodplain data will be published on the county's map review platform approximately one week prior to the corresponding public meeting.

Upcoming Meetings: 
Boulder County hosted the first of several community meetings on draft map review on Dec. 13, 2016. Additional meetings are being planned for late January and February 2017. Information on future meetings will be posted here as information becomes available. Each meeting will begin in an open house format and will include a formal presentation and with state and county staff. Meeting details will be shared here, the county calendar, in upcoming newsletters, via the project listserv, social media (Facebook and Twitter) and through the various Watershed Coalitions.
