Lyons to Boulder Shuttle

THE SHUTTLE SERVICE HAS ENDED FOR 2014. Boulder County is examining ridership to determine if it will return for 2015.

2013 Lyons Free Shuttle Flyer

The Shuttle had a successful launch in 2013, providing over 2,000 rides.

The "Lyons to Boulder Shuttle" is a free transit service (anyone can ride, no fares/passes required!) operating May through August.

The route follows the current path of the RTD "Y route" between the Boulder Transit Center (14th and Walnut) and the Lyons Park-n-Ride (4th Avenue and Broadway), with multiple stops in between along Broadway in Boulder and U.S. 36Lyons Free Shuttle Bus between Boulder and Lyons.

The Lyons to Boulder Shuttle has up to five bicycle rack spaces available (two exterior and three interior) and seats for up to 20 people. Dogs are not allowed on the shuttle. The route will be operated by Via Mobility Services. There is no cost to ride the route and no passes are required.

The Lyons-Boulder shuttle is funded by a combination of grants from the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment and the Denver Regional Council of Governments both administered by Boulder County.
