Lyons to Boulder Shuttle

Back by popular demand starting on May 23, the Lyons to Boulder weekend Shuttle will be returning for the summer of 2014!

2013 Lyons Free Shuttle Flyer

The Shuttle had a successful launch last year, providing over 2,000 rides. For this year, the shuttle schedule has been slightly revised and expanded.

The "Lyons to Boulder Shuttle" is a free transit service (anyone can ride, no fares/passes required!) operating May 23 through August 31. The shuttle will operate on Friday evenings as well as up to 12 hours of continuous service on Saturdays and Sundays. The bus will run every 70 minutes and provides a great opportunity to attend the Lyons summer concert series - see more at

The route will follow the current path of the RTD "Y route" between the Boulder Transit Center (14th and Walnut) and the Lyons Park-n-Ride (4th Avenue and Broadway), with multiple stops in between along Broadway in Boulder and U.S. 36Lyons Free Shuttle Bus between Boulder and Lyons.

The Lyons to Boulder Shuttle will have up to five bicycle rack spaces available (two exterior and three interior) and seats for up to 20 people. Dogs are not allowed on the shuttle. The route will be operated by Via Mobility Services. There is no cost to ride the route and no passes are required.

The Lyons-Boulder shuttle is funded by a combination of grants from the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment and the Denver Regional Council of Governments both administered by Boulder County.
