Civil Fees for Service
Listed below is the fee structure for Civil Process Fees under 30-1-104, in accordance with House Bill 05-1062,
as approved by the Boulder County Board of Commissioners under resolution number 2005-57, on June 7, 2005. This
resolution shall take effect August 8, 2005.

| For serving and returning a summons, or other writ of process in other than a criminal action not
specified in this section, with or without complaint attached, on each party served, in counties of every class,

| Except that, if execution of any such writ or order is required, an additional fee of actual
expenses not to exceed $200.00 dollars plus such transportation costs may be charged but only after the Sheriff has
provided a detailed accounting of his or her actual expense to the person requesting such service. Actual
transportation costs assessed pursuant to this paragraph shall be charged once per location for each service or
execution. |
| ** Note: In the event the Civil Section receives cancellation on the Writ of Restitution,
within one hour of the scheduled eviction time, the deposit will be fully refunded. If the final restoration
is not canceled prior to an hour, or is canceled at the time of restoration, $35.00 will be charged against the
plaintiff's deposit. |
| Pursuant to 30-1-104(2) C.R.S., "actual expenses" means those
personnel and processing costs incurred in typing, processing, filing, and serving said process papers but does not
include mileage. |
