Education provided by the Boulder County Health Department to new
intakes on a weekly basis at no cost to the jail. Classes are provided to both, males and females. AIDS testing is
available to those who request it. Approximately 500 inmates are tested per year.
Additional information is provided to the inmates in the form of pamphlets, booklets, and brochures made
available by the Boulder County AIDS Project.
