 John A. Jester (1852-19??)
Was born and raised on a farm in Illinois and found his way to Colorado in April, 1873.
Here he engaged in mining up till 1890, and afterwards ran a grocery until he was elected Sheriff in the fall of
1891.
He was also a Chapter Mason.
