The Internal Affairs function has been established to investigate all allegations of misconduct brought against
employees of the Boulder County Sheriff's Office. The primary responsibility of Internal Affairs is to insure the
integrity of the Sheriff's Office by performing thorough and impartial investigations of its employees, and to
insure that every investigation withstands the test of fairness, regardless of rank or position.
