The Warrants Section of the Division handles all warrants issued by the Twentieth Judicial District, which
includes District, County, and Civil courts within Boulder County. The Warrants Section staff enters these warrants
into the Colorado Crime and National Crime Information Network Computer systems in addition to an internal computer
system.
On the average day, the Warrants Section is managing approximately 3,000 active warrant files, including
arrangements for in state transport of arrestees outside of Boulder County and out-of-state extraditions.
