Boulder County's Kids - Banner

It may not be the right time for you to Foster or Adopt a child.  There are many other ways in which you can help a child in Boulder County.  Different levels of involvement are needed throughout our Foster Care and Adoption programs.

Here are a few suggestions:

  • Volunteer your time to assist or support our foster families

You can play a meaningful role by supporting our Foster Parents and providing opportunities for children to connect with caring adults.

You can become involved by being a mentor, providing career development opportunities, offering your expertise and support in a child's special area of interest and/or assisting with transportation.
  • Be a Mentor

Children always need good role models.

  • Send company/organization-wide emails

Help us find permanent homes for children by periodically allowing our Agency to email your friends or co-workers pictures and descriptions of children who are waiting for permanent homes.

Provide a link on your website to ours: www.bouldercountykids.org

  • Raise awareness about the needs of our children

Allow our Agency to hold presentations, question and answer sessions, casual meetings and/or give out information to your employees or organizations with a picture and description of children who are awaiting permanent homes.

Contact Cindy at 303-441-1089 if you are interested in any of the above or if you have other ideas on how you can help Boulder County children.
