Cherryvale Shoulders & Overlay - Baseline Road to
Arapahoe Road
The Cherryvale
Shoulders project will reconstruct Cherryvale Road between
Baseline and Arapahoe Roads including the addition of four-foot paved
shoulders in order to improve safety and accessibility for bicycles and
pedestrians. Some realignment may occur. However, no new
thru-lanes or turn-lanes are planned.
Work is expected to take place within the existing
rights of way with no additional right-of-way being required.
Significant impacts to landscaping, streetscapes and utility lines may
occur.
Design is anticipated to begin in March 2009.
A public meeting is scheduled for April 21, 2009. Construction is expected to
