Lee Hill Road Shoulders - 4th
Street to Point of the Pines Drive
The
goal of the Lee Hill Shoulders project is to provide an improved roadway
that increases safety for both motor vehicles and bicycles and is
efficient to maintain while minimizing potential impacts to waterways,
to geologic features and to both publicly and privately owned
properties.
Boulder County began examining the corridor in May 2009 to identify
potential design options within the environmental and topographical
constraints. That process, including public input is expected to last
through October 2009, and will result in a conceptual design along with
cost estimates and environmental trade-offs.
A timeline for design and construction of the project has not been
established. However, the project is included as a capital project in
the 2007 List of Projects for funding through the Countywide
Transportation Sales Tax.
Project Open House -
