Lookout Road Shoulder Widening Project

The project is to widen Lookout Road from 24' to 30' wide to provide for 4' paved shoulders, and to resurface the widened roadway with a hot mix asphalt overlay.  Additionally, the roadway will be widened to provide for left turn lanes for traffic traveling eastbound on Lookout road to northbound on 79th Street and for traffic traveling eastbound on Lookout Road to northbound on 95th Street.  Work is expected to take place within the existing rights of way with no additional right-of-way being required.

The project limits are from 75th Street east to 95th Street.

Construction is expected to begin in the late summer or fall of 2008 and take approximately 2 months for completion.  During the project the roadway will remain open with minor traffic delays.
