Drainage & Flood Control

Another engineering function the Transportation Department performs is professional engineering work in storm water drainage, flood control, hydrology and hydraulic engineering. The Transportation Department staffs a Water Resources Engineer who is responsible for coordinating these activities with outside agencies, other government jurisdictions and the general public.
