State highway 7 at East County Line Intersection Improvements

The project is to add traffic signals at this intersection and to add turn lanes to both East County Line Road and SH 7.  Additionally, access restrictions will be constructed to limit traffic movements at Flagg Drive to a right turn in and right turn out condition.  A majority of the work is expected to take place within the existing road rights-of-way.  This project is being constructed in conjunction with Colorado Department of Transportation and the City of Lafayette.

Construction will take place along SH 7 beginning approximately 1000' west from the East County Line Road intersection to a point 700' east of the intersection.  Work on East County Line Road will be approximately 900' in length.

The project is currently in the design process.  Construction is expected to begin in the late summer 2008 and take approximately 2 months for completion.  During the project the roadway will remain open with minor traffic delays.
