Special Events Permits
A Special Event Permit for Boulder County Roads is required whenever an
event will use a Boulder
County road. Such events include but are not limited to:
bicycle races or rides, foot races or walks, or motored vehicle events.
The purpose of a Special Event Permit is to ensure that any changes,
restrictions, or adaptations resulting from an event are managed in a
safe, prudent and legal manner to protect the health, safety and welfare
of the traveling public and citizens of Boulder County.
