St. Vrain Greenway Trail
The St. Vrain Greenway trail will provide a trail
connection between Longmont and Lyons as envisioned in the
Boulder
County Comprehensive Plan (1978). The County Trails Map identifies
a conceptual trail alignment along the Burlington Northern/Santa Fe (BNSF)
Railroad, just north of the St. Vrain River.

Completion of the Greenway trail was identified in the Regional Trails
prioritization process and approved by the County Commissioners in May
2003, as a second priority project. The project is included in the
Transportation Department's Trail's plan with funding allocated for the
2010-2020 timeframe.
