The advertising insert published in the newspaper on October 2nd   listed 1238 properties with $5,085,412.29 in unpaid taxes. People have since then paid off some taxes. Today's numbers are 1093 properties with $3,209,536.34 in unpaid taxes. You can expect these numbers to keep falling as delinquent taxpayers pay their taxes before the sale. Last year, the final numbers were 508 properties that went to auction for a value of $1,807,834.52.

Tax Lien Sale Buyer Briefing
  • Are you a first time tax lien buyer? 
  • Would you like to know more about the tax lien sale process?  
Please join us for a question and answer information briefing. We will cover some Boulder County prior year's statistics, abbreviations and descriptions of properties, online information you can use to plan for the sale, how to research properties and the Treasurer's Deed process. There will be time for questions. Bring your laptops, wi-fi will be available. Refreshments will be served.
 
When: Wednesday, October 14th, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. 
Where: The Old County Courthouse, 1325 Pearl Street, Boulder. 3rd floor Commissioner's Hearing Room. Parking passes for City of Boulder Parking Garages will be available if the courthouse parking lot is full.
