Boards, Commissions and Task Forces

You Can Be A Boulder County Adviser!

The Board of County Commissioners is looking for interested, involved residents of Boulder County who would like to serve on various advisory boards and task forces.

Mid-year recruitment to fill partial-term vacancies on Boulder County’s advisory boards and commissions began July 1. The deadline to submit applications is 4:30 pm, Thursday, July 31.

Advisory Boards and Commissions give residents the opportunity to have their voices heard within Boulder County government.  Residents provide recommendations to the Boulder County Commissioners regarding a variety of County programs and issues. The County, in turn, benefits from this citizen input.

The following boards and commissions have vacancies:

  • Aging Advisory Council

  • Board of Review

  • Citizens Cultural Advisory Committee

  • Domestic Abuse Prevention Project Advisory Board

  • Extension Advisory Committee

  • Food and Agriculture Policy Council

  • Mosquito Control Advisory Board

  • Planning Commission

  • Social Services Advisory Board

For more information about these vacancies or for an application, visit www.bouldercounty.org/bocc or contact Jana Petersen at 303-441-3501 or jpetersen@bouldercounty.org.
