The Career Closet helps Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) participants (a program helping low-income parents through counseling, housing and child care) dress for success on the job.  Please consider donating gently worn professional and business casual clothing and accessories to the Closet.
 
There is a special need for clothes in sizes 12 and up.  Call FSS counselors at 303-441-4402 for a drop-off time.

Leave Your Mark as An Illustrator

Boulder County Parks and Open Space is looking for a few artists (amateur or professional) to draw black and white pictures for publications.  Pen and ink drawings of wildlife, flowers, plants, recreation or any outdoor theme are desired.

Write an article for the Boulder County Parks and Open Space’s quarterly publication, Images. We are looking for articles about local natural and cultural history, wildlife and plants as well as other topics.

You can pick up copies of "Images" at the Parks and Open Space headquarters (in Longmont off Airport Road and St. Vrain Road (West)  the Boulder County Courthouse, the Boulder County Fairgrounds Office in Longmont, local recreation centers, senior centers, and Chambers of Commerce.  You can be placed on the mailing list by calling 303-678-6222, or emailing swilliams@bouldercounty.org
